Fire and Ice (4)

Hi guys,

here it is - finally - my redone Schnee Eifel map, now playable with coh and opposing fronts. I made this special version for the relic map contest. Enjoy.

The map comes in sga format, I recommend you use Mannerheims COH Launcher to play it (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=176498).

updated the file again (04/27/2008)

You just have to use the sand textures and set the lightning to white color with a high intensity (1.8 in this case) and set desaturation to a high number.

You canīt have snow on the roofs, it is not included in the buildings skin.

Your daylight is a bit too bright you might tone it down a bit.
Adjusting the "ambient light" settings can really make a great difference.

you`ll need coh with patch 1.71 installed, it`s the only version where action markers work (all the smoke and fire etc. are action markers). In all other versions its broken.

Damn, I can't go back old CoH v1.71. I still CoH OF v2.301 & play online, just too long patch
I got CoH & CoH OF games, I buy new games CoH OF last end September 2007, I unstalled old CoH then installed new CoH OF.
Early April 2008 I got new fastest PC Ģ1160, I installed all games & CoH OF without old CoH.
My worldbuilder some things not included.

There is a bug in the 1.71 installation to use worldbuilder with 1.71, you have to create a new folder called "DataPreview" within the Company of Heroes folder.

Those are action markers, you will have to extract the folders containing the files with Corsix mod tool.
The files are located in ../data/art/fx/fx_ambient/
