I just seen this over at the Company of Heroes community site.

Patch Update Tomorrow

We will be updating the Company of Heroes server tomorrow (April 22nd) starting at 11:00 PST (18:00 GMT) in preparation for the release of the 2.502 patch.

Patch Release Notes:
v2.502 04/21/2009
Fixes
- Fixed a crash that occurred while automatching in an operation automatch.
- Fixed a crash that occurred in the Worldbuilder when saving a valid map.
- Action markers work again in the Worldbuilder.
- The default map folder in the Worldbuilder works again.

Gameplay:
- There is now a delay that affects how quickly an MG will swap between windows. An MG will have to stay at a window for a short period of time ~ 2 seconds before it can move to another window

Sounds promising!

I wonder if this will also fix the issue of some custom maps not showing up in the map selection list or crashing upon selecting as well?

So far I've found around 20 maps out of the 80+ custom maps I have that show up in the selection list and actually work w/o crashing and with out the use of the CoH launcher.
Two of those are map packs, one by Henry666 - MapPack1.sga and the other I'm not sure who made it but this is the file name PANZERWERKSSP2MPMAPPACKFIL.sga. They had to be relocated from C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\Maps to My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2\Scenarios in order to work.
I was thinking that maybe there's a common thread related to these maps like perhaps the version of worldbuilder they were created with.
Most of the other maps don't even show up in the selection list or show up but crash the game when selected.
One other thing I've noticed on custom maps is, the loading screens no longer work. The picture is just a generic picture.

Sorry about not posting this in News & Updates to begin with, but it would not let me for some reason.
