This is a fun map that i found on gamereplays.org (http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=448097).. the center of the map has an area where you can't build anything.. so no emplacement spam. :)

Hi guys

This mapping experiment came about due to the current imbalances in team games in COH, on disucussion with my fellow COH players we thought it would be interesting to see how COH plays when resources are not a huge factor, but rather players tactical skill.

Consequently i have tried to make as balanced a map as i can, so we can have an opportunity to see where some of the real imbalances are, and to provide a fresh new play style for COH. A sandbox map if you will, it has a mirror match quality to it.

The game itself plays the same as COH OF, there has been no unit modification ect. the real diference is

- The centre of the map, roughly 2/3rds is null territory, that is to say it can not be captured by any team (hence no mans land)

- Each faction starts off with exactly the same ammoujnt of resources already in their base sectors, 1 x16+ fuel, 1 x 16+ munnies and one MP point.

- All three VPs are situated in the null territory.

Some important notes from our extensive playtesting
- Structures such as emplacements, bunkers, medic stations, mg nests can not be biult in null territoty, ie the middle of the map. This does have some major implications on some factiosn such as british Engineers and defensive bunker users.

- Doctrineal/unit abilities whcih are territory specific can not be used in null territories. So thing like FTFl, and Inspiredassult, dont work in the middle of the map

- upgrading of units wepeons, such as recoliess rilfe, tompsons, MP40s,Panzershrecks can not be done in null territory, a short retreat back to HQ is in order.

- Bases defenses are deliberatley placed well back to add to game play elements.

- The brits still get a resource advantage, especially if there is a engineer player, but since they cant emplacement spam it evans out

- Brit Royal arty, american 105s on map and hummels can target opponents bases from their HQ sector easily.

We have found this is a great 2v2 map for any faction, and a fun map for 3v3s.

So it's like a WWI map but with tanks?:D
