Hi All,
First off for those of you new to BotB here are some basics:
Features include but are in no way limited to:
-The new Automatic Territory Capture system (thanks to AnyGameX) No more flagpoles simply capture territory by having more men in it than your opponent, the more the faster!
-Realistic tank combat featuring historic penetration values, tanks have their turret rotation times reset to the actual speeds of real
life, visibility reduced to reflect the limited line of sight from tanks' vision blocks.
-new units such as the tiger sturmmorser, jagdpanzer IV L70, maultier panzerwerfer, m36 'slugger', sherman jumbo and many more...
-All new skins and maps
-New Doctrines specific to the units named in Historical records of the battle
-And many more changes to the original gameplay and graphics
you can download it from our website here:

Well its that time of the year again, ModDB is accepting nominations for its mod of the year.
I think that what Halftrack et al have been able to do with this mod is simply amazing in terms of new content, improved gameplay, change to the original game, and visual improvements. Not to mention with the state of CoH mod tools.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Bravo
Battle of the Bulge is currently ranked 364 out of 8,494 mods, I think we should at least be able to get into the top 100
So this is why I would like to ask you to go to the following link:
Battle of the Bulge on ModDB (http://www.moddb.com/mods/battle-of-the-bulge)
and click on vote now in the nominate this mod window (after the mod summary section)
Get onboard now and you will be ready for some of the things we have planned for 2009:
-A patch (coming soon) to fix the known bugs, some balance issues and add new maps
-A new version eliminating Base buildings, using company commanders to call in all units, based on historically accurate unit formations.
-Small single player scripted missions
-and more....
Note that if you vote as a member ModDB puts more weight on your vote than as a guest.
Also we could really use some articles, reviews and videos to increase the visibility of the mod there.
Please spread the word so we can get more people playing this fantastic mod
