Hi,

here`s something new for you to play around:

"Desert Map Pack"

3 new Multiplayer/Skirmish Maps:

Ruins and Sand (2):

- Control the marked spots for reinforcements:
Red Spots: Infantry Reinforcements every 3 Minutes
Green Spot: Heavy Tank Reinforcement every 6 minutes

Beware of random artillerie fire, bombing runs and fighter strafe runs...


Stones and Sand (4):

- Control the marked spots for reinforcements:
Red Spots: Infantry Reinforcements every 3 Minutes

Beware of random artillerie fire, bombing runs and fighter strafe runs...


Dust and Sand (8):

- no additions on this one, vanilla coh fun :)


READ THE NOTES IN THE MAPSELECTION MENU BEFORE STARTING ON THE 2 AND 4 PLAYER MAP!

Hi I downloaded and installed this mod - but for some reason I can't select it in my list of maps.

Other maps I have downloaded and worked fine, But the Desert Pack and the D-Day don't show up for me.

Any idea?

Verify that Desert_Pack.sga is located in this path:

C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2\Scenarios

(where XXXXX is your windows username)

If it still doesn't work, it could be that Company of Heroes was not installed under the same username. Maybe you don't have administrator rights and you share the pc with someone else?

Hint: no -dev needed, guess the rest of the maps you downloaded where non sga maps. Make sure you install them to the default folder.

I have the .sga file in the Documents folder, it wasn't there, so I created it. I play with the -dev off...it shows up fine for me, I can skirmish on it, but cannot play multiplayer using it. Any ideas?

you try to play these with the latest patch (2.102) ? Custom maps don`t work with this patch /OF addon atm, have to wait till relic fixes that bug.

do I need information on as installing the maps, do I put them at mygames\thq\company of heroes\WW2\Scenarios but the stake you don't see the new maps??????

hi, these maps must go to .../documents&settings/My Games/Company of Heroes/WW2/Scenarios

if you have the latest patch applied only the 8 player map will work, I`ll put out fixed versions in the future.

Hello, First off Henery666 ever single one of your maps are amazing and I hope you continue with them, espically the scripted ones!

I Have a problem wth 2 of the maps here on the 2vrs 2 map I get a fatal error about a minute into the map. On the 4vrs 4 map My partner will only make enginers or the or the Kettenrad. I'm playing both of these maps in skirmish mode with the CPU as my partner on the 4vrs4 map.


I have patch 2.102 installed with the -dev. Should I Reinstall COHOF, or the desert map, or both, or is their an easier fix?

nope these maps only work with coh until patch 1.71, they changed a lot of the code so it wont work with patch 2.x and above.

I loaded the map and everything, but when the match starts, it says a fatal scar error occured. What the Hell is that????!!!!

I have successfully installed "SGA Map Pack" and started skirmish mode with Crossfire map. The version of CoH is 1.710. I've played for some time and saved the game. But after I quit the game, restart it
and load Crossfire saved game, everytime I try to save it again the game crashes to
desktop. This also happened to me with Gotterdammerung and Desert map pack. And other custom made map packs.
But this doesn't happen with original THQ maps.
What's wrong?

dont know, havent ever tried to save a skirmish game honestly.

Maybe it lies on your PC. he's too bad to play map pack;)

I'm on Vista... cant play the maps... installed them... but dont show up
i put them in both: /C: Program files/THQ/Company of Heroes/Data/Scenarios & /My Documents: My Games/Company of Heores/ ww2/data/scenarios

/C: Program files/THQ/Company of Heroes/Data/Scenarios/MP <== SGB Maps here

It depends on which Maptype u use and put the Map in ONLY 1 Folder not both .

correct folder for sgb:

x:\...\WW2\Data\Scenarios\mp

these are sga but dont work with patch 2.x, only with patch 1.71 :(
