okay, i just decided to make a whole new thread for this map instead of that old "iwo jima map idea" thread
been working on this one a while, it's almost done, this is probably the last beta.
Here's an 8 player version of Iwo Jima
The island is huge, and realism had to die in favor of gameplay, but it's basically miniature version of Iwo Jima
The Invaders start on an island in the corner, defenders start on Iwo Jima itself, with some defenses in place
NOTE: screenies may be outadated in some areas due to recent changes

**Major Update**
-added trees
-rocks/cliffs are more complete
-lots of splats/splines
-SCAR nearly done, only popcap remains
-changed map layout a bit, to incorporate the whole map, not just a rush to enemy bases
-fixed up territories
-added a road in the back
-added a ruined/bombed industrial area-turned mg nest (inspiration from luckylegs latest map)
- a lot more i can't really remember
Beta V2 is out now, no popcap increase yet
please give feedback on resource bonuses, arty strikes, and the rest of the scar coding, and also map layout, anything else you can think of.
