Hello
I Have a copy of CoD2 that i have had since 2005, since then,i have updated my Microsoft Windows Edition to Vista, when i first installed it on vista, it worked, then had a few problems when connecting to servers (it froze and gave me a message: Call of Duty 2 is not responding), i un-installed it, then re installed, when installing i got a message on disk 4: D:\Setup\Data\main\IW_13.IWD Does not exist, please find the file and vrify it exists and had to buttons: Retry and Cancel, i clicked retry, got the message again, so i searched for it, found it, clicked it, it opened, went back to the installer and clicked Retry, got the message again.
Then i tryed to re install again but this time it was on disk 6 and this time it was D:\Setup\Data\main\iw_localizedenglish_6.IWD or what ever its called but it did have a 6 in it, but it said D:\Setup\Data\main\iw_localizedenglish_6.IWD is restricted, please retry
i searched for it, found it, went to its properties and it said: Restricted Access. so i clicked retry, same message.
then i tryed to install again, same message as 1st time.
then i tryed once more and checked disk 6 D:\Setup\Data\main\iw_localizedenglish_6.IWD and opened its properties and went to its security and access, it was fine, went out of the folder and back in and clicked the free space under the files and click security and settings and got Restricted Access.

Please Help Me, if you could send me \Setup\Data\main\ folders for each disk, that could make it work, im not sure

You should first uninstall, and then remove ALL files related it to it. You may have to go into the registry. As for the security, you are on an administrator account right?
