Hi, i've been having problems with the patching. I keep getting 10104 error. I've done an unlimited number of reinstalling the game and patching again, I've done Selective Starup, i disconnected from the internet to reinstall the game again, i've done deinstalling the Antivirus, but nothing works. However the game worked just before that patch in december came out and since then i can't patch the game even with the very first patch. I phoned up the relic support line, they emailed me md5summer program, i did the checking with the CD, but it was alright, then they told me to install the game on my mate's PC, but i my mates don't place computer games which need good machines like mine.

Can anyone help please? :D

Which patch are you trying to install?

the very first one on OF, i think it should be 2100-2101.

I think i got the same error myself once, read the message carefully, it'll name a file that's corrupt, so you'll have to replace it by either reinstalling, or searching for a backup you (maybe) made.

(if i'm not mistaken)

What did you do exactly after the reinstalling?

Yeah, Jorge, I know wat u mean, u want me to track down the file when the patching gives me 10104 error, delete it and then replace it the same one from the OF DVD, right? its usually these files: Engine.sga or OFFullAlliedSpeach.sga or something like that.

That doesn't work, unfortunately.

As i've tried many things, i think it's my CD/DVD-rom's firmware that is out of date or something. But one thing i dont understand is this: if its the problem with the DVD-rom, then the files which are copied on my comp r probably corrupted or contain errors, right? But for some reason i am able to plane offline, but not online. that's weird. i think if the files were corrupted then i would not be able to play at all. Maybe it's some kind of "relic installer" that installes patches is corruted when it's copied from the DVD on the comp?

ive got one DVD-rom and another one is CD/DVD-rom. DVD-rom has stopped working long time ago for some reason when i put in OF DVD. And the CD/DVD-rom is like 5 years old. lol. Someone found a firmaware update for it, but it was ages ago, i think the CD/DVD-rom just too old and is probably not made anymore.

Anyways, ive been looking for solution myself, as always. lol and ive found the reason why my DVD-rom is not reading OF DVD might be the new copyright protection thinging or the laser faliure...
