Map install instructions:
-- SGB Install --
Go to your Company Of Heroes/WW2/Data folder
Go to or create Scenarios folder in there
Go to or create mp folder in Scenarios folder
Extract the map archive there
Run your Company Of Heroes in -dev mode. To do so:
Create a shortcut of RelicCOH.exe located in your Company Of heroes folder
Open Shortcuts preferences
Add " -dev" without the quotes (Note the whitespace! Whitespace after the text present in the field is required!) to the Target field.
It should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company Of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev
When playing custom maps run your CoH through your created shortcut
Enjoy! The map should be in CoH map list in the bottom

Just copy the map file to My Documents/My games/Company Of Heroes/WW2/Scenarios/ folder and play. Although I suggest using the the Mannerheim's CoHLauncher (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=176498)!

It's all the same with SGBs. Don't know about SGAs. I don't suggest downloading SGAs actually, couse they are not supported too well i think

I think that list is pretty much explains it all. You may only have troubles with shortcut if you have non-english windows.

If you downloaded SGA map, then you should read Mannerheims coh launcher: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=176498 You will find all the information you need to play your map in that thread

What about for vista, when I go to extract files in the mp folder it says I dont have permission...even though I am the administrator, what gives?:confused:

which path is this MyComputer/C:ProgramFiles/THQ/CompanyOfHeroes
Or MyDocuments/Mygames/CompanyofHeroes ? im on Vista and the only problem i have is not being able to play AVI videos

I have Vista and have had countless troubles trying to get the sga files to load.

ive tried all sorts of options but nothing seems to work. im about to give up...

Are the steps for installing the maps the same for world builder maps?

ive made a map or two and i cant seem to get it running in CoH ToV either. im putting them in the correct folder but it isnt coming up. ive installed other maps that ive downloaded from this site but i cant get my own to work. :(
