Hey all, i havent been on for ages. just wanting to know whats new in the world of COH, i also have stopped playing since its screwed up and so forth. so yeah whats new?:D:p:)

But some things... Rangers aren't overpowered anymore, but the off-map howitzer shoot comes down in 1 second. So it's still infantry commander spamming if i'm not wrong.

i stopped playing not long after opp fronts came out, and opp fronts is the reason why i stopped playing. i didnt like it replacing regular coh as an add on to opp fronts that and it didnt let me use my account for some reason......after i installed it it let me use it but after some patches it wouldnt. so yeah

Well they definately released Opposing Fronts at the right time anyhow. CoH was just begining to die Multiplayer and they just revived it with perfect marketing timing. Im guessing they will do that with the next one too!;)

As for me, i started liking CoH less too, not because of OF but because of the changes brought with it.

Do you really think the changes were that big? Apart from the account managment I thought the changes were pretty simple:confused:

CoH was good as it was. The account managment isn't that good anymore imo, logging in just to play singleplayer :confused:
Also the cd you have to insert to play if you aren't connected to internet. I got an internet connection wich is not able to connect to relic online. I have a crappy cd-reader, and CoH always says the cd isn't detected. So basicly, OF isn't even available for me to play.

plea speakeh de english langauge!!! lol.....yeah i hated the changes wrought on CoH by OF, mainly because u need to sign for campaign and lan which i use to do alot with mates and we use to also hold compititions for it.

I just wanted to talk about something like this...

I bought CoH because a friend of mine really loved it and well, my good ol' AoW buddies played it. When I bought it long after its release I thought it was nice! Nice except the AI which sucks even more than AoW : DA AI.

When I wanted to play online I had to download a patch, I thought; "well that's quite obvious, it's already released for a long time." After downloading the patch, I had to download another one, and another one, finally done... I still couldn't play online, then the next day I tried again, a new patch, a 1+GB one... I thought; "This sucks, not going to wait for the huge file to be done after which' installation I probably still wont be able to play online." So I tried offline again, and "What the fuck?" My favourite tank suddenly sucks ***, my tactic doesn't have any effect anymore...

I didn't play it anymore until OF was released. First played OF when I was sick, I was like "woaaah" this is way too fast (It's hard to concentrate when you're sick.) When I played it again not sick anymore I liked it, the Panzer Elite rocks. But they seriously could've fixed some things like the vehicles always jamming into eachother, I really started to get irritated and now I'm back to playing Act of War again, It's dead online but offline AoW is much better than CoH. :mad:

If you ask me, CoH really sucks *** now. And I want to play AoW online again. :rolleyes:

I see how you got your opinion about it. I got my game pretty early, so no patching problems for me.
And i agree, some things can get irritading. But that's just one point. Try enjoying the good things of the game instead of focusing on the bad things. :)

btw, Did you patched wompletely by now?

i'll try n get back into CoH once ive fixed it up and updated any and all patches
