COH Launcher (play sga maps online)

3/31/2009: Update: now working with Patch 2.4

Info about the app

- launching the game with this will still allow you to play ranked or join any other games normally (just like before OF)
- it wont edit ANY of the original files so when a new patch comes your game will patch fine
- all files inside the .sga will work (preview image, weather options etc.)
- .sgb maps also work with this but requires the -dev checkbox (-dev is never a good thing to be used online)

Download it from here: http://www.harharetki.net/coh/CoHLauncher.exe

Download and save it to the folder where COH is installed (same folder where reliccoh.exe is),
then just create shortcut to it and always use it when you want t use .sga maps online.

Using the app

For the .sga maps this app will use a custom folder called 'maps' that will be located under the COH dir
so place all your .sga maps there by either using the 'add a new map' button or use the 'open maps folder'
button and use windows explorer to move/copy the files by yourself.

yeah, best thing is you can also use it as a mod launcher, so you dont need like 10 different shortcuts and finally preview pics are working in the lobby (an issue relic wasnt able to fix since vCOH came out - and thats long ago!)

This is a great tool, thank you. Could we please have a "-nolitter" option for us DX10 users in the next release as well please. It cuts down on the FPS hit. ;)

It removes the pebbles and debris that come with the DX10 version.

I downloaded CoHLauncher file, I click CoHLauncher pop upu error message I click ok then CoHLauncher screen I choose sga maps, I click 'start the games' WTF! another pop up error message, I ignore stupid error message, I can't play sga & sgb multiplayer anymore. :mad:
I fed up with error message & crash.

I have the same problem. I start it with your SGA Map Pack, but none of the maps are in my list.

I've a problem with coh launcher. COHLauncher shows me the sga maps but when i try to play it always returns to main map select screen after loading screen. How can i fix it?

thats the reason then, apply the latest patch (2.301)

I supposedly have everything correct to launch maps - shows up on installer - when I go to game - maps do not show up. Wonder what is going wrong here - any help? Please thx!. Was wanting to put Custom maps and CoH launcher links on our clan's forum - 3 4v4 maps is getting old - was really looking forward to playing Dust and Stones and other maps with the buddies.

I have CoH launcher and map folder - Launcher recognizes the maps. But when I start up game thru launcher - the maps do not appear in game. Any Help please - thx.


Maps work when in document/my games/CoH/WW2/scenarios/mp without launcher - but not program files map with launcher. I have Vista and also one of my friends has vista and having similar problems. CoH launcher/vista incompatibility issues maybe?

I guess on vista you have to right click on CoH launcher Icon and then run as administrator to to get the maps to show up

I have UAC disalbed myself, and the Launcher seems to find all maps successfully.

Old cohlauncher 1.5 all SGA maps broken by patched.

I found new cohlauncher 2.4 from relicnews thread - http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=176498 all SGA maps working now :)
