Hi,
I've been using downloaded maps without a problem in the old CoH but I recently purchased Opposing Fronts and, after installing it, I can only get the .sga maps listed, not the .sgb maps.

I'm putting the .sga maps under My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\ww2\scenarios. I'm putting the .sgb maps under : -
C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Scenarios\mp

For each map, I've created specific subfolder under the mp folder like...

C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WW2\Data\Scenarios\mp\Goetterdaemmerung

Basically, it's setup in OF like it used to be in CoH. I'm using the shortcut with the -dev switch as usual. I've tried uninstalling everything, deleting all CoH/OF related folders and re-installing from scratch but I still can't get the .sgb maps to display in the Skirmish list. Getting a bit frustrated. Would appreciate some good information to solve this problem.

"mp" must be in caps i think.. i'm also not sure if subdirectories still work in OF like they used to vCOH.

I renamed the 'mp' folder to 'MP' but that didn't fix it. I've left it as 'MP' in any case.

As test for sub-folders under MP, I just deleted everything and put back one map directly under there. There is a 'Loading' sub-directory as seems to be standard with these sgb maps. I restarted OF but still no listing of that map in Skirmish.

Thanks anyway. Keep the suggestions coming.

here's a screenshot of my sgb maps folder.. and these maps work fine for me with -dev.. maybe your -dev shortcut got messed up while re-installing?

BuckyBoy,

Thanks, you're screenshot looked like my MP folder so what you said about my shortcut seemed like the only thing that might be causing the problem. When I looked at the Properties of the shortcut, the path was correct and the -dev switch was there so everything looked ok. However, I just deleted it and created a new one, added the -dev switch and... just like magic, the maps appeared in the Skirmish list! Amazing.

Thanks for that suggestion. I have no idea what was wrong with the shortcut but recreating it certainly solved my problem.
