Hey guys i know my old installer works but i made an updated version witch should solve problems and some glitches that got PM'D to me.
- Installer now puts shortcut on desktop
- Fixed a glitch where it installed in THQ folder
- Fixed a problem where uninstaller wont work.

Yeah Its just an add-on usually if it overwrites the game it will say so at the beginning of the thread usually the first words.

I have 2.6 cheat mod works great, but can't get it to work when me and friend try to play against the computer in skirmish mode. It as a error sync error or some thing. Me and my friend love the new cheat mod. Used to use the version 2.0 on opposing fronts on multilplayer against the computer worked great, but now no good on TOV.Can anybody help me out. thanks:eek:

ok i saw it, and apperantly only like tank traps and mines have them move, and can some1 please post the entity, and ability list for the cheatmod, the ToV stuff is interfering, espeacially with units, and bucky, i cant find the henshell ability in the cheat ability

every one just download the most recent just download 2.501 or 2.600 to play it is that simple, if you have something else download the two, and install this for 2.501, and vartexs for 2.600

4: make a shortcut to relicCOH.exe and put "-mod Cheatmod" (without the "") behind it. (eg: "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -mod CheatMod)

5: Play :)

EDIT: Tag, as far as i know there aren't new abilities, only for heroes, and i think it would be very difficult to make them spawnable ;)

I folded the Joint Ops files into Cheat Mod; that way, you can't cheat when you turn in scores and the like.

First off, I created a new folder in the Company of Heroes install directory. I named it CheatModJO. I copy/pasted the content of the folder "CheatMod" in, and then copied the content of the "JointOps" folder in, overwriting the CheatMod locale file. I do not know if this particular step is necessary, but it helps when making changes to the module file.

Now, run and enjoy. It's not bug free, but it sure is fun.

I still suggest completing the missions as Mannerheim had envisioned; they're super fun. I used CheatMod to help me understand the way that they work.

Can any of you guys get the direct fire to work when you spawn the tiger ace or the other tigers?. I swear it was working for me at one time but now it doesn't, i think i got the module from the guy in this forum who was monkeying around with Bucky's module, he posted it with huge pictures and he said his version was chinese or something on page 37 or 38. I tried to get the module again but it's not there anymore. I don't go to filefront anymore since i discovered this mod site.

Hey could you delete the .exe download from the post stupid easy share deleted it since i wasnt getting enough download exe had 120 and zip had like 2120 :D.

Also to clear some things up the .zip is basically the exe without it being in a zip, and i uploaded both because i know people who save the zip files instead of having random installers everywhere thanks :D

First step depends on which version you have. The latest version of cheatmod is for version 2.601. First you need to download the version 2.301 .exe file from the front page attachements. Second you need to download the 2.601 .zip file. Run the .exe file and then extract the .zip file where the .exe files were installed.

The only way to get it to work with other mods is to combine them together. I can't remember how to and I can't find the thread on it here, so you may have to use google or search around this site some more.

There's no mention in the "2.601.zip" file that it's been updated to that version. "Cheat Mod v2.501 (for COH >= 2.501 only!)"

I made another installer for COH v2.601

This one makes installation easier because it will also create a shortcut with the proper command lines.

Sounds like you are installing it into the wrong directory. Make sure you install it into your CoH game directory.

You can only play online with people who are also running the same mod.

I have installed this mod under TOV 2.501 and it works fine for single player but when I play with my son on the LAN in multiplayer it fails sync error, anybody else have this error or can play OK MP?

I don't know what's going on with the sync errors but it's probably the anti-cheat measures they added recently.

At the request of a couple of people, I added a .BAT file to uninstall the Cheat Mod. The file is named 'CheatMod_Uninstaller.bat' and can be found in your COH game folder.

How might one modify cheatmod? More specifically, how might one add entities to the spawn list?

What I mean is like Shift + # or letter, or Ctrl + Shift + # or letter.

I'm trying to add more weapons like Boyes AT, and some other types of weapons\units from "Blitzkrieg".

Well of course it does, the download for Cheatmod 2.601 is right up there ^^.

For combining Cheatmod with Blitzkrieg 2.003, it's real simple:
copy all the files from the cheatmod folder
paste the files in the Blitzkrieg folder, replace all
Done! Now wasn't that simple?

This doesn't work at all, I tested with 2.601 and 2.501. I even went in the module and changed the SP_cheatscript to cheatmod and it still doesn't work.

edit: I found how:
#1 Download Corsix and open blitzkrieg.module
#2 go in data/scar/wutil.scar
#3 after the first line, where there is import("ScarUtil.scar") add import("cheatmod.scar")
#4 save the file and then go in your cheatmod data/scar and copy cheatmod.scar to blitzkrieg data/scar folder.
#5 to remove simply delete the line import("cheatmod.scar")

Yes there was an update for TOV. Of course this usually changes the cheat mod. I was wondering if the mod would or even needs to be updated
