problem, i hv a laptop that has a keyboard with a mac design, so the only f key is f6. the other f keys will do the laptop function, ex. shift+f8 will raise the volume, not do the hotkey thing.
it worked on my pc, but the pc is very unstable.

well the module file is located in Program Files/Company of Heroes and the shortcut is on your desktop (right click -> properties).. i hope that explains it?

Buckyboy, Can you please create a exe of the cheat mod that works with 2.40
I am not much good with all this renaming of files etc and it would be so much easier for an exe to run and fit the file in the right directories

Bloody hell I cant take this I love the game and yet just cant get very far..
You spawn the engineers and by the time you get 50 yards across the map to a fuel dump you can here the BMW sidecar in the bushes straight away..
I have it on the easiest setting as well.....next thing you know they turn up with 3 8 wheelers......I though the idea was for us to cheat no the AI:confused:
i think they made the AI a little better with patch 2.400

Something strange is happen with me, after install the patch 2.400 the cheatmod only work with the standard maps when i try to play a custom map the game crash and appear a form to send information to relic i am using the CheatMod fix for patch 2.400 somebody have any idea? :confused:

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it with just the usual updates no extra maps or any mods except the cheat as instructed as best I could and it dont work full stop........
I assume you still push Control+shift+F1 to inable it and get the menu screen up??

Hey, could you tone down the cussing. Also, continuing to post isn't going to help speed up the process when he said on the last page that the 2.5 patch is coming soon so you'll have to wait until that's released to get a new version.

You don't actually have to patch the game if you don't want too. When you go online, there should be an option to not download the patch. You can try going on filefront.com and getting all the patches you need.

When you first run the game it automatically patches the game all though you can choose not to in which case it puts you back to the main window where you either login in or your other choice is to exit to windows....
Just thought I would try an experiment which was to just click on the engineers and do nothing else just run down the middle to look at the axis base and sure enough 1 minute into the game the axis have everything built other than the Tank depot some much for the 2.40 AI being fairer
Its a f****** joke........and thats on the easiest setting.....
The most I have lasted is 30 minutes......

the properties show that it is 2.some kb, not 2.19mb

It's probably either your f5 and F keys have something else that pressing shift activates (such as when you press shift+/ you get a question mark) or your OS has shortcut keys using shift+f5 and shift+f
even without pressing shift, the cheatmod doesnt work. also, alt-f4 doesnt work to

Do you have an opposing forces folder? Also, do you have a company of heroes folder in the program files directory itself?
i have the GOLD edition:confused:
start/all programs/ THQ/ Comapny of Heroes, then all it has is cheatmod, notes for cheatmod, and uninstall cheatmod
now i moved the play COH regular, to the folder

What operating system do you have? Vista or XP? If you have Vista, you have to be the administrator of the computer (to get it where you are an actual administrator, right click any file, go to properties and advanced options. Should be the second or third tab will be something with what user you are. If it doesn't say administrator, click the button below and double click admin). If you are on XP you should be able to do it without a problem so long as you are a normal user without limits.
i think he right clicks the shortcut in the start menu.. then you cannot change the target.. in vista at least.

but anyways just so you know im getting the gold edition tomorrow and i hope it will work cause im uninstalling the COH-cheatmod today and i am installing it tomorrow

Right click the shortcut in the start menu then customise and edit. Better off making a new shortcut in the game folder and pinning it to the start menu.

look last sunday it worked i dont know what i did but it worked and the day after it stopped working for some reason maybe you guys know about it
the reason it stopped working is because you installed patch 2.400 i think.. all mods were broken with patch 2.400, so i released a hotfix.
i have a really bad problem, before 2.4, the mod only worked with shift f6, and shift ~.123456,etc. and then it didnt work, before 2.4, i need help more than tanklover.
PS i have gold, vista, and a laptop.

Hey Buckyboy, thanks for the new 2.501 cheat mod. I put cheatmod folder\cheatmod.module in the company of Heroes dir. Change my cheatmod short -mod as instructed but have this issue.
When starting the game just regular (without the cheat) my TOV campaigns are all unlocked just fine, But when starting with the cheatmod, they all show locked and can't be access. I only use slow mode on the cheatmod, and was hoping to play the TOV ampaigns with this mod. Thanks if you can help.
P.S. The regular campaigns work fine with the new cheat mod.
hmm could you test this: run coh with -dev (no mods) and see if the campaigns are locked.. because i think it's a problem with -dev.
I tested these ways. Is this what you mean?
-mod CheatMod -nomovies (This gives me the locks on TOV campaigns again, but mod working on the normal campaigns)
-dev CheatMod -dev -nomovies (Game starts but mod not working)
-dev CheatMod -nomovies (again, mod doesn't work)
From here, I'm at a loss for what else to try.

no, they are unlocked with -dev, starts up like normal. Cheatmod is unactive.

Maybe TOV is busy added to cheatmod so it can't work with campaigns?

Well that sucks ass. This mod is the only reason I still enjoy playing single player. I love slowing down time to watch the tanks shoot shells as I'm rotating the map. I'll be so pissed if this turns out to be true.
I played skirmish used cheatmod, I spawn new vehicle woot! lol because I don't have CoH ToV, lucky all new gamemode & campaign still locked, no steal it.

Sorry about that problem with the new campaigns. Is there away to get around that? Like, manually start the maps?
Also, is there a way you could add the Singleplayer Squads to the spawn list? Like the Airborne Baker & Able squads? Better yet, it would be great if maybe you made another option for shift + space that goes to a thing that allows you to spawn all the new Tales of Valor stuff, and maybe some old units that have direct control. I know that playing around with Hero Units would be fun.
Hey bucky is there abilites for TOV? and will this be updated for multiplayer too along with instant TOV recharge time?

Seems relic has in one fell swoop of Valor, eliminated mods from tampering with what you said as "the singleplayer experience". Your mod has always been the funnest part of playing COH. Patience is necessary i asume trying to find out how they scarred(no pun) the scar so you can't play the mod. hope someone figures it out soon. hey it's only been out two days. Keep the vigilance bro, and to everyone else asking for Buckyboy to add this and add that: All this stuff is coded and it's just not that easy to add the new units to this mod. so let us figure out how the hell to do it.
Just to confirm, having the same issues as aforementioned, Operations seems to be non-working with the mod as well. Sad, hope there is a workaround somehow :) Shouldn't be impossible, I guess, hope to see some progress :) Good work so far nevertheless!
my copy of tov has just been shipped today, so i cant test yet.
Follow instruction use for regular cheat mod v2.501 download. after you completely installed the cheatmod BuckyBoy gave us USE THE MODULE i attactched and replace it with the module buckyboy used.
copy cheatmod files to " ?:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes"
replace CheatMod.module with the module i attatched.
worked for me. post if it doesnt work.

It lets you get to the campaign mission select, then goes to black after you start the mission..did you get that? on mine its RelicCoh.exe" -dev -mod cheatmod make sure you use the new module file from titoboii a couple of posts above.. the skirmishes work, as do ops, the campaigns are UNLOCKED, but seem unuseable at the moment. Further edit. panzerkrieg and assault modes are not working it seems as well. the play but you cant upgrade in panzerkrieg and in assault mode you can't respawn after you die to another hero. Not to be touchy, but where'd you go titoboii? All of a sudden we got a fix and I just wanted to know what you did so we can all tweak it to find a solution.....

no that module file doesn't work for me either.. first, screen goes black when loading mission and then when i press spacebar -> CTD, send report to relic etc.

That module file was fixed by me. Operations works tho, I'll go and fix the Black Screen thing now.

so it can't find the text and therefor doesn't allow you to open it?

I dont mean to jump in here, but how are you editing the module file? After the 2.4 patch, my Corsix studio wont even load them. I know it's because corsix still uses the -modname suffix as opposed to the new -mod one.. just thought I'd ask and see if I could lend a hand . I have ToV and have been testing the module files you and Rizz and Titoboii released today. Rizz's still went black b4 mission start, and yours (Bucky's) did alright- tested Falaise gap mission 3 and such.. found out the "special" copy and paste option CTDs. Until I can get a crack at the module file though I'll just guinea pig the ones you gave today and let you know..Thanks I want to create my own "singleplayer experience". Sounds like some tantric masterbation stuff if you ask me..lol

Before the 2.4 I was able to upload Cheatmod into all the different popular mods (botb,pofia,Nor44,blitzkrieg) just by adding it into the -dev mode on the Scarutil.scar file. Now modules don't even load up.

well, now everyone's mods are in disarray since dropped the bomb that is ToV, but before that I found a way to add cheatmod in the background of the mod by using Corsix's mod studio. I would load up the module, make sure I had the basic cheatmod.scar and view.scar from cheatmod in the data/scar folder of that particular mod and then load up the scarutil.scar file. at the end of that file there's usually the line that says : :If -dev mode activated load cheatscript.scar.. I just changed that to read If -dev mode activated load cheatmod.scar. It worked everytime, and would even be there if a new version of the mod was installed. Now like I said, everyone is having trouble updating their mods due to the patches. but if youre not, that's the easiest way to do it, I found.
corsix modstudio doesn't work anymore with the new module format in 2.501.. and i heard he isn't gonna update it.. (probably pissed at relic for no mod support)

yes.. currently, the stuff from operations conflicts with everything else.. relic now uses multiple modules, but this isn't possible for mods.. so the cheatmod.module is just an attempt to combine multiple modules, but it doesn't really work very well.

yes... more specifically, these lines are causing a crash when not using operations:

so you could just comment out these lines like this:

I loaded this OPSAttribArchive.sga in corsix and it seems like a modded version of WW2\AttribArchive.sga.. so when both are loaded at the same time, it gives problems.

Actually, I was tinkering around with it today with N'44 and no probs. must be like you said, if they update thier modules, corsixs will work. got cheatmod to work on N'44 .

Hey Bucky, I was wondering if you ever found out how to get the Tiger Ace campaign workin'? The module for the TOV campaigns works but the upgrades in the tiger ass campaign are blank. noticed it too in panzerkrieg, with the proper module.
i found out that you can also load multiple modules when playing mod.. just have to name them CheatModDLC1.module, CheatModOps.module etc.. see attachment.. operations are still a bit problematic though.. but campaigns work 100% now (with cheats).

hmm could you test this: run coh with -dev (no mods) and see if the campaigns are locked.. because i think it's a problem with -dev.

1: go to the directory where you installed CoH (most likely C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes )
2: unzip the file you downloaded
3: extract the files to the directory you just opend up
4: make a shortcut to relicCOH.exe and put "-mod Cheatmod" (without the "") behind it. (eg: "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -mod CheatMod)
5: Play :)
EDIT: Tag, as far as i know there aren't new abilities, only for heroes, and i think it would be very difficult to make them spawnable ;)

If it aint too much work it'd be sweet to see the Boys AT rifle added to CheatMOD (as the nutjobs at Relic didn't - for some reason - add it in any way to the game other than for the enemy in *one* of the campaigns, sigh).
Would be pretty fun to play with it a bit, see what it can do :) (although I doubt it's very effective ^^)

bucky boy just so you know if it helps you know when you load the game you go to the map where its loading under there is a tip,

Well, I tried to edit the scar file for the AT gun. Finally, I can spawn the AT gun. Besides, I also tried to spawn the units which is at TOV compaign.:)
It's the AT gun (British). Although I can spawn and use it, it would have model and texture errors if you spawn it outside TOV compaign.:(

2.What is Wehrmacht tactics ability's Axis assault ability (Shift + Ctrl + 8)? I use the hotkey but there isn't any effect.
Is it possible for me to modify the "add resources" cheat? When I read the description, I thought it would give me unlimited resources, but I didn't know it would give me 9999 population and full command points. Is it possible to split up those into 3 separate cheats? One for unlimited resources, one for unlimited population, and one for full command points.

extract all files to coh file folder then copy reliccoh.exe to your desktop
then select the target folder and put this in "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -mod CheatMod -dev -nomovies" (might need to put quotes)

Does the cheat mod support Tales of valor because when i start it up it says i do not have the correct data installed to play TOV with the cheat mod, does anyone have the same problem?:confused:

Guys !!! The Campaigns Are Locked and the Operations Don't work. How to fix this? i did extract the CheatMod files to Company of Heroes Folder and add like -mod CheatMod -dev to the target schortcut.
But when i erase the -mod CheatMod -dev from the target folder, the campaigns and operation work normal..
How to fix this guys???

It should work use default i added version 2 on accident witch does nothing, if it's still not working then make sure its going to the right directory.

Hi all, I have downloaded the cheat mod by Bucky Boy v2.501 and yes it works fine with TOV v2.502 but the only thing is that it dose not work online the only thing you can do is play on shcermish, so your question would be is there a Cheat mod that can work online?:)

relic would NOT let us play any mods online, otherwise your trust rating goes down:mad:
if you are having problem playing with it in multi then try and see in the directory if you put it in the right place i downloaded it yesterday im happy:)
yet i cant play in multi but it maybe works if you put it in COH FOLDER in cheat mod folder!
and question Vartex why is it when i downloaded the cheat mod if locked my tales of valor campagins? i have the disc and when i put in the cheat mod it locked itself? got an idea why it happend?

I'm not sure why its locked mine is locked to, the only thing i can think of is from keeping pirate's from playing the game for free witch probably dosen't make sense, i would try to enter my ToV Cd Key but I'm scared i might get banned or something you never know.
Vartex you only get Banned if you type the keys for TOV 4 or 3 times

You`re right. The Mod works by me,too.
With the mod my TOV campaigns are locked. I can play skirmishes and the older campaigns modded but not the TOV ones.
How do you get these campaigns unlocked? If I load up COH unmodded (just RelicCOH.exe) the TOV campaigns are unlocked but with the mod they are locked.
any fix?
